A tree chipper or woodchipper is a machine used for reducing wood (generally tree limbs or trunks) into smaller woodchips. They are often portable, being mounted on wheels on frames suitable for towing behind a truck or van. Power is generally provided by an internal combustion engine
Tuppco proudly delivers on-site training courses across a wide region of the South and Central UK. From Dorset, Somerset, and Wiltshire to Reading, Oxford, and Swindon, our team provides expert, accredited instruction at your workplace using your own equipment. We specialise in NPORS plant training, Lantra land-based and machinery courses, and Qualsafe first aid and health & safety training. Businesses across Berkshire, the Cotswolds, Hampshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Buckinghamshire, Cheltenham, and Northamptonshire rely on Tuppco for flexible, professional training solutions that minimise downtime and maximise compliance.
The aim of the Lantra Woodchippers (ARB09) course with TUPPCO Training is to teach learners how to operate woodchippers safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry best practice, reducing the risk of accidents and machine damage.
By the end of the course, learners will be competent and confident woodchipper operators, able to work safely across arboriculture, forestry, and grounds maintenance settings.
Upon successful completion of the Lantra Woodchippers (ARB09) course with TUPPCO Training, learners will receive a nationally recognised Lantra Awards certificate. This qualification demonstrates competence in the safe operation, maintenance, and hazard management of woodchippers used in arboriculture, landscaping, grounds work, and forestry.
Ideal for arborists, tree surgeons, grounds maintenance staff, landscapers, forestry workers, estate teams, and contractors who operate woodchippers as part of daily work tasks.
The Lantra Woodchippers (ARB09) course with TUPPCO Training is typically completed in one full day, depending on learner numbers and experience.
TUPPCO Training provides the ARB09 Woodchipper course directly at your workplace, woodland, estate, or contracting yard. This ensures your team trains using your woodchippers in the environment and cutting conditions they work in every day.
TUPPCO Training provides on-site delivery across the UK, including the Cotswolds and surrounding regions.
Yes! Upon successful completion of your course, you’ll receive an official certificate and skills card accredited by Lantra, NPORS or Qualsafe recognising your achievement and qualification.
