The QA Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support for Adults and Children (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed to equip candidates with the essential skills needed to administer safe, prompt and effective basic life support in an emergency situation.
It is the perfect qualification for those who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities to provide basic life support for adults and children. It is also ideal for qualified first aiders who are looking to refresh their knowledge and practise the latest basic life support techniques.

The objective of the Basic Life Support for Adults and Children (RQF) – QA Level 2 Award with TUPPCO Training is to equip learners with the knowledge and practical skills to provide immediate life-saving support to adults, children, and infants in emergency situations. The course ensures participants can act confidently and safely until professional medical assistance arrives.
By the end of the course, learners will be fully prepared to provide life-saving basic life support, increasing the safety of colleagues, students, or members of the public.
Upon successful completion of the Basic Life Support for Adults and Children (RQF) – QA Level 2 Award with TUPPCO Training, learners will receive a nationally recognised Qualsafe Awards (QA) Level 2 Certificate. This qualification confirms that participants have the knowledge and practical skills to perform life-saving basic life support (BLS) techniques for adults and children in emergency situations.
