The QA Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis (RQF) qualification has been designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, at home or in voluntary and
community activities, to provide basic life support and manage anaphylaxis when dealing with an emergency. Successful candidates will be able to recognise the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis, and will be equipped with the vital skills needed to administer safe, prompt and effective treatment.
Anaphylaxis is a severe and life-threatening allergic reaction, which requires immediate medical attention. With the number of sufferers increasing each year, it is extremely important to know what to do when faced with this acute emergency condition.
The objective of the qualification is to benefit Learners by preparing them to attain the knowledge and
practical competencies needed to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) and manage anaphylaxis.

The objective of the Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis (RQF) – QA Level 2 Award with TUPPCO Training is to equip learners with the skills and knowledge to provide immediate life-saving support and manage anaphylactic emergencies effectively. Participants gain confidence to act quickly and safely until professional help arrives.
By the end of the course, learners will be fully prepared to save lives in cardiac and anaphylactic emergencies, ensuring the safety of colleagues, students, or members of the public.
Upon successful completion of the Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis (RQF) – QA Level 2 Awardwith TUPPCO Training, learners will receive a nationally recognised Qualsafe Awards (QA) Level 2 Certificate. This qualification confirms that participants have the knowledge and practical skills to perform life-saving basic life support (BLS) and respond to anaphylactic emergencies safely.
Ideal for employees, first aiders, childcare and education staff, volunteers, and anyone who may need to respond to cardiac or anaphylactic emergencies in the workplace or community.
The Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis (RQF) – QA Level 2 Award with TUPPCO Trainingtypically takes half a day (approximately 3–4 hours) to complete. The course combines practical skills training and essential theory to ensure learners are confident and competent in both life support and anaphylaxis management.
