  • What is using a chainsaw from a M.E.W.P

    For professional chainsaw operators working in forestry and arboriculture the industry recommendation is that for ’high risk ‘activities (paragraph 137 PUWER ACOP) the minimum level of adequacy of training is to a certificate of competence or nationally recognised qualification where assessment is carried out independently of the training. This includes when using a chainsaw to cut or trim tree limbs when standing in a Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP)

Objective Of Course

The purpose of the Chainsaw from a MEWP Level 3 course with TUPPCO Training is to ensure that operators can carry out safe, controlled, and efficient aerial cutting operations using a chainsaw from within a MEWP, following all legal and industry standards.
