A tractor is an engineering vehicle specifically designed to deliver a high tractive effort (or torque) at slow speeds, for the purposes of hauling a trailer or machinery such as that used in agriculture, mining or construction. Most commonly, the term is used to describe a farm vehicle that provides the power and traction to mechanize agricultural tasks, especially (and originally) tillage, and now many more. Agricultural implements may be towed behind or mounted on the tractor, and the tractor may also provide a source of power if the implement is mechanised.
Pass mark is less than 35 penalty points and no mandatory disqualifications

The aim of the Lantra TRA01 Tractor Driving course for 13–15-year-olds is to introduce young learners to safe and controlled tractor operation, building confidence and foundational skills for future agricultural and land-based activities.
By the end of the course, learners will have basic competency in tractor operation, ready to progress to more advanced agricultural machinery training as they get older.
Upon successful completion of the Lantra Tractor Driving for 13–15-Year-Olds (TRA01) course with TUPPCO Training, learners will receive a Lantra Awards certificate, confirming their ability to safely operate and manoeuvre tractors under supervision in agricultural, educational, and controlled environments.
Ideal for young learners aged 13–15 who are interested in agriculture, farming, rural skills, or vocational training programs, and who want to gain early experience in safe tractor operation.
