A skid loader, skid-steer loader, or skidsteer is a small, rigid-frame, engine-powered machine with lift arms that can attach to a wide variety of buckets and other labour-saving tools or attachments.
Skid-steer loaders are typically four-wheeled or tracked vehicles with the front and back wheels on each side mechanically linked together to turn at the same speed, and where the left-side drive wheels can be driven independently of the right-side drive wheels. This is accomplished by having two separate and independent transmissions; one for the left side wheels and one for the right-side wheels.
Pass mark is less than 20 penalty points and no mandatory disqualifications
Tuppco proudly delivers on-site training courses across a wide region of the South and Central UK. From Dorset, Somerset, and Wiltshire to Reading, Oxford, and Swindon, our team provides expert, accredited instruction at your workplace using your own equipment. We specialise in NPORS plant training, Lantra land-based and machinery courses, and Qualsafe first aid and health & safety training. Businesses across Berkshire, the Cotswolds, Hampshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Buckinghamshire, Cheltenham, and Northamptonshire rely on Tuppco for flexible, professional training solutions that minimise downtime and maximise compliance.
The aim of the NPORS Skid Steer Loader (N212) course is to equip learners with the knowledge, operational skills, and confidence to operate skid steer loaders safely and efficiently across a range of workplace environments. The course focuses on safe machine operation, hazard awareness, load handling, and compliance with NPORS industry standards to minimise risk and improve site productivity.
By the end of the course, learners will be fully competent and confident in operating skid steer loaders safely, helping to improve workplace safety, operational efficiency, and equipment longevity.
Upon successful completion of the NPORS Skid Steer Loader (N212) course with TUPPCO Training, learners will receive an official NPORS N212 certificate, confirming competence in the safe and effective operation of skid steer loaders in line with industry safety standards.
Ideal for construction workers, groundworkers, agricultural staff, landscaping teams, industrial operators, and anyone required to operate a skid steer loader as part of their role in commercial, agricultural, or construction settings.
